Ricky Melchor introduced those with sight to the world of people who are blind on Feb. 10 with his workshop “The Business of Being Blind.” The event, offered at no charge to participants, drew about a dozen people to MEO. He talked about the psychology of being blind, how people become blind and assistive devices. The workshop was offered by the Maui Independent Living Center.
