MEO’s Business Development Center offers Financial Literacy Workshops for Adults and Teens.
“Money Matters” Adult Financial Literacy Workshop
The “Money Matters” Adult Financial Literacy Workshop is a two part series held virtually via Zoom. Classes are the 3rd Wednesday & Thursday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm. The series will cover understanding and managing all facets of our daily personal financial situations in a very challenging economic climate.
Workshop topics include:
- Understanding Spending Tendencies
- Realistic Budgeting and Saving Strategies
- Understanding Personal Credit, Credit Reports, FICO Score, and Identity Theft
- Basic Investment Terminology and Information
- Financial Wellbeing During Covid-19

Teen Financial Literacy Workshop
The Teen Financial Literacy Workshop does not have a set schedule and we will try and inform of a date as they come available. The series provides teens with knowledge, skills, and tools for financial success.
Workshop topics include:
- Budgeting and Savings Goals
- Basic Banking
- Applying and Interviewing for Jobs
- Credit
