Microloan Program for Small Businesses

Three microloan programs are available for businesses unable to secure traditional business loans. Applicants work with BDC staff to generate a loan proposal, which is submitted to a loan committee consisting of local
bankers for approval.

 

  •  Bank of Hawaii microloan program, provides loans of up to $25,000 to businesses;
  • Kupu Loan program, funded by the Hawaii Community Foundation, for emergency loans with a maximum of $2,000 with 2 year term.
