Maui Economic Opportunity “We are ‘Ohana“ Gala fundraiser on Saturday, April 30, at the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Waikapu drew about 250 people. Jeff Peterson and Amy Hānaiali‘i entertained their gathering with their special sounds of Hawaii. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Gov. David Ige and Mayor Michael Victorino. Arnold is the CEO and founder of Portable Practical Educational Preparation, which operates educational, behavioral health, human services, and employment and training programs for youth, adults and persons with disabilities.

During their visit, Arnold and his group visited two BDC microloan businesses, Maui County American Jobs Center MEDB, Hale Mahaolu and J. Walter Cameron Center.
