The 2020 Maui Economic Opportunity “. . . Do What’s Right” fundraising gala went on Saturday night, Aug. 28, online after being postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The livestreamed event on Zoom, the MEO website and Facebook honored Maui County Mayor Michael Victorino and featured the music of Nevah Too Late. Victorino and his wife, Joycelyn, Sen. Roz Baker, Rep. Troy Hashimoto and council Chair Alice Lee attended the livestreamed event from the MEO Wailuku offices. The gala can be viewed at *facebook.com/MEOINC/videos/1001042960671253*

Mayor Michael Victorino brought his wife, Joycelyn, to the stage.

Dane Ka‘ae stops a car as Cliff Ceasar greets the driver picking up dinner at the King Kamehameha Golf Club. Because the gala was switched to a livestreamed event, the meals were packed for distribution at the drive-thru event.
