About a dozen staff from Maui Economic Opportunity and their friends and family joined 1,700 other walkers in the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association Maui Visitor Industry Charity Walk on Saturday, May 6. All joined the “long” route of 3.8 miles that began and ended at the War Memorial Events Field after wending through Keopuolani Park and Kahului town.
MEO finished third in the nonprofit division with $93,993.40 raised.
Thank you to the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association for organizing their annual event that benefits so many Maui nonprofit organizations.
