He will be responsible for technology and maintenance services for the nonprofit agency’s current hardware and software and for long range planning and policies. Network, email, security and backup capabilities as well as phone system operation in MEO facilities and Head Start sites countywide fall under his purview.
Padin started his new job Friday, Nov. 12.
Before joining the nonprofit MEO, he was Market IT Manager for Marriott International in San Francisco and on Maui from 2015. Padin earned his Bachelor of Science, Informational Systems, from the University of San Francisco and has Microsoft and HP certifications.
Padin also is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and replaces longtime IT Manager Waco Muse, who is returning to the Mainland to be closer to family.
