Bard Peterson, First Hawaiian Bank vice president and Maui Economic Opportunity Board president, delivered a Supporter Level donation for the MEO Gala to CEO Debbie Cabebe on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at MEO offices in Wailuku.

This is the second year First Hawaiian Bank has made a donation to the “. . . Do What Is Right” MEO Gala, which has been postponed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will go on from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Waikapu. The 1960s themed event honors Maui County Mayor Michael Victorino with music by Nevah Too Late.

New attendees cannot be accommodated, but individuals or businesses interested in making a donation to the nonprofit MEO can contact Executive Assistant Lee Imada by phone at (808) 243-4306 or by email at lee.imada@meoinc.org.
